Get Involved: Local Involvement Committee
The Local Involvement Committee, which comprised of community partners and June Sucker Recovery Implementation Program representatives, goal is to help increase public understanding, appreciation of the lake and cultivate a sense of stewardship for Utah Lake while providing a conduit for stakeholder feedback and local involvement.
The Local Involvement Committee’s objective is to help host community events that educate the general public while gaining support for the June sucker recovery efforts. One of the main activities supported by the Local Involvement Committee is the annual Utah Lake Festival.
